History

Howard Britton, together with his brother and business partner Horace Britton, established BSOCIAL in 2008. They identified a market in need of social media campaigns to reach to their target audience during their third year at the University of Technology. This realization came about when LIME Jamaica, their first client, approached them for digital marketing services after a proposal presentation for an event.

This marked the beginning of a successful journey for BSOCIAL, as they went on to acquire a diverse range of clients over the next five years. Some of the notable names in their clientele included Red Stripe, Smirnoff Vodka, Heineken, Trade Winds Citrus, ShipMe, Reggae Jammin’, Guinness Caribbean, Johnnie Walker, Jamaica Biscuit Company, AXE, JACAN Rubber, Sagicor, and Express Fitness, Promo-Biz. Throughout this period, BSOCIAL developed customized digital marketing campaigns to meet the specific objectives of each brand.

In 2014, the company decided to expand its services by venturing into mobile app development. This strategic shift in their business model was driven by a comprehensive global market assessment, which recognized the immense potential for app development on a larger scale. BSOCIAL aimed to establish itself as the leading company for app development in Jamaica.
